The Internet is a public online environment where anyone can share information online. Millions of people contribute to the information on the Internet, which is constantly changing, added to, and deleted. There isn't always a system of checks to ensure the accuracy of the information on the Internet. Therefore, not all the information found on the Internet is credible.
In this course, we will explore how we can verify the credibility or reliability of information and create and share content responsibly.
This course covers the following topics:
- Information literacy
- Assess credibility of information sources
- Responsible handling and sharing of information
In this course, we will learn to:
- Recognise the types of information found on the Internet
- Assess the credibility of an information source
