Chinese New Year

This course introduces learners to the Chinese New Year, a widely celebrated festival that ushers in the new year based on the Chinese lunar calendar, to learn and explore the significance of this festival and its practices.

This is a single module short course.

Students will learn:

the history, origin stories and myths of Chinese New Year
the various customs of Chinese New Year
how Chinese New Year is celebrated
