Creating a website is no longer a tedious process which requires programming or coding skills. With the emergence of website builders over the years (such as Wix), creating a website has become much cheaper and easier, even for beginners. For instance, Wix is one of the well-known website builder platform that provides free web hosting for users with easy-to-navigate Drag and Drop tools to build their own websites.
In this course, learners will be utilising Wix, a free online website builder, to design their own websites with a drag-and-drop editor. Learners will also acquire skills and strategies to create an effective website design that is user-friendly and well organised.
This course is organised into five modules:
- Introduction to Websites
- Introduction to Wix
- Creating Your First Website
- Creating Effective Website Designs
Students will learn:
- The uses of a website
- How to navigate and design a website using Wix
- To identify and apply effective web design
- To develop and improve aesthetic sense through refining web designs
