This course aims to introduce us to the 12 Basic Principles of Animation and how to create Animated GIFs with PowerPoint.

This course is recommended for Middle Years (11 – 14 years old) and above.

This course contains 13 modules:

  • Introduction to the 12 Basic Principles of Animation
  • Squash and Stretch
  • Anticipation
  • Staging
  • Straight Ahead and Pose to Pose
  • Follow Through and Overlapping Action
  • Slow In and Slow Out
  • Arcs
  • Secondary Action
  • Timing
  • Exaggeration
  • Solid Drawing
  • Appeal

 

Each module will take 30 minutes to complete, excluding assignments.

In this course, we will learn:

  • how to identify and apply the 12 Basic Principles of Animation using PowerPoint

This online course is open for Pathlight School students to access.
