Classical Music: Baroque Era introduces students to the music that was composed during this period. Students will learn more about the history of this period and the characteristics of the music composed during this time. This course will introduce the major composers of this period and expose students to a number of well-known pieces.

This course contains five modules:

  • About the Baroque Era
  • Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741)
  • Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750)
  • George Frideric Handel (1685-1759)
  • Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706)

This course will cover:

  • Baroque Music
  • Life and Music of Antonio Vivaldi
  • Life and Music of Johann Sebastian Bach
  • Life and Music of George Frideric Handel
  • Life and Music of Johann Pachelbel

This online course is open for Pathlight School students to access.
