Musicals are plays that tell stories through songs, dance, acting and scenery. Unlike operas, musicals have dialogue and can be sung by untrained voices.

This course will introduce you to the world of musicals. You will learn about the different types of musicals and how musicals present compelling stories.

New modules will be added every month.

Each module will take 50 minutes to complete, excluding assignments.

In this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the story and plot behind popular stage musical performances
  • Gain an appreciation of the songs sang during the musical performances

This online course is open for Pathlight School students to access.
