Opera is a compelling way to tell stories through song and drama. It is a higher-level musical that needs to be sung by trained voices. Often, the opera is sung through without lines of spoken dialogue.

This course will introduce you to: The Ring of the Nibelung.

This course is a four-part introduction to Wagner's four-opera cycle The Ring of the Nibelung. Collectively the four operas run for 15 to 16 hours. They tell a single epic story about a ring that brings death and destruction.
