Self-paced

Full course description

Welcome to the course: Forces and Interactions (Junior Science 101).

A force can be defined as a push or a pull. When an object pushes or pulls on another object, the first object exerts a force on the second object. We cannot see the force, but we can see or feel the effects of a force when it is applied to other objects. Do you know what those effects are?

We will learn the four types of forces in this course:

  • Magnetic force
  • Gravitational force
  • Elastic spring force
  • Frictional force

We will learn to:

  • Describe what force is and the effects of a force
  • Describe the four types of forces
