We experience rhythm and imagination every day. This includes the songs we sing, the stories we read, and the playful ways we describe the world around us.

Complete the course to learn how classic verses like "On the Ning Nang Nong" and "Song of the Train" can be brought to life through vibrant, whimsical imagery. You will explore how the "Bong" of a cow and the "Ping" of a tree can be transformed into a visual adventure.

This course will cover:

  • Poem 1: On the Ning Nang Nong
  • Poem 2: Song of the Train
  • Poem 3: The Rhythm of Life

By the end of this course, we will be able to:

  • Understand how rhythm and onomatopoeia (sound-words) are used to bring classic poems to life
  • Visualise abstract or whimsical poetic descriptions through creative imagery and storytelling
  • Identify the connection between the sounds of a poem and the feelings they evoke
