
Full course description
A tense is the form of a verb that indicates whether the action is being done now, was already done or will be done in the future.
There are three verb tenses:
- Past tense - indicating actions done in the past
- Present tense - indicating actions that are being done now
- Future tense - describing actions that will be done later
Tenses can be divided further into four categories: simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous.
This course will provide explanations and examples of the everyday use of basic English Tenses. Learners will also complete quizzes to practise and self-assess their grammatical knowledge.
This course is organised into five modules:
- Simple Present and Past Tense
- Future Tense
- Continuous Tense
- Perfect Tense
- Verb Tense
To revise and practise the use of Tenses.
